Good Bank fishing for the Plaice about a Mile off, all falling to Lug, Rag, Macky. Also appearing were Gurnard (Of varying varietys), Whiting (Plague Proportions), Codling (Yin, Wee), and Weavers.(Nuff said).

do people STILL fish portrush? i thought people gave up on the port years ago due to unreliable weather and boat men who would meet you on the pier where the waves were comming over into the harbour with the words "it was ok half an hour ago" if i had a £5 for every 150 mile round trip that ended like that! fortunately this happens less often now but it still happends at some venues - doesn't it sam?
