People: me, son and brother-in-law

Duration: 4hrs

Tide: low to high

Weather: warm, sunny and windless

Bait:

Rigs: hokkais, toby spinner

Results: codling, ballan wrasse, garfish, pollack, coalies, launce

Report:
02/06/06 - Beautiful day, took morning off work (being your own boss is good occassionally). My 4yr olds first proper boat fishing trip. Put to shame by him, biggest cod, biggest pollack, clonking big wrasse (caught on the toby suprisingly) and the only garfish. He's caught 6 fish in his life and 5 different species. As always plenty of variety in the harbour, but the dolphins seem to have made themselves scarce, so not quite the perfect trip for him. Ling rock next week, so maybe the basking sharks are back with all this plankton producing sun and that'll make up for it.
