Cracking days fishing outside Cork Harbour

What a superb days fishing. Went out on the Chìeftain, based at Cobh with skipper Mark. 3 of us caught 36 fish ranging from 2.5 to 14 Lbs, 5 double figure fish.

Great boat, great skipper and a great days fishing.

I recommend getting out quick from Cork, south of Powerhead while the Cod are still there in numbers and size. We couldn't have wanted anything better from the boat or skipper. We drifted over the reef about 7 times during 5 hours out on the reef. The first fish was landed within 2 minutes, a cod of 5lbs or more, accuracy or luck, I don't care, the placement on the Mark (no pun) was spot on.

Good luck, hope you get as much luck as we did today, despite a gale warning from the Coast Guard we never saw a drop of rain, sun came out in the afternoon to top it off.

Still buzzing.
