LSAC Boat Competition - Rush, Co. Dublin - 19.07.2020

Where: Launching from Rush, Co. Dublin
Who: Myself and my uncle.
Duration: 08:30-14:30
High Water: 11:30
Equipment: 7.5ft Shakespeare Ugly Stik 2 30/50lb
Bait/Rig: 3 hook pollock basher rig with size 3/0 hooks and 9oz lead.
Conditions: Slight swell at the start but calming as the day went on, clear blue skys!
Result: 4 Whiting, 1 Dogfish, 4 Mackerel, 1 Cod, 1 Pollock
We took part in the Loughshinny Sea Angling Club boat competition today and fished around the Rockabill lighthouse & Lambay Island. We didn't do too well and finished last and second last, but still enjoyed it with the weather being fantastic so looking forward to the next one. Might have another boat report during the week!

Nice mixed bag of fish which one's did you catch or did you blank again ?

I only wrote what I caught myself lol my uncle didn't do so well, he only got 3 dogfish and a whiting
