Donegal Bay Underwater Video, 8/9 October 2016

Postby johnwest » Tue Oct 11, 2016 11:04 pm

Here's some video taken on my recent trip, the first bit was in quite murky shallow water and the rest in water subject to a fairly big swell so it's a bit erratic but hopefully still interesting. Watch out for a mid-water fly past by a thorny at 2.51, a mackerel attacking a swivel at 6.08, a dogfish quartering the ground like a gundog as it homes in on the bait and just beats something else to it at 6.12, 2 doggies compete for a bait at 6.44, an octopus joining a dogfish briefly at 7.18 and another chasing the bait at 10.34.

Fascinating... watching them like that is nearly better than catching them! Nearly.....
