Has anyone information on launching boats on Cahore slipway can you launch on both side of tides, condition of slip ect....
Normally launch in Courtown but the harbour is out of action for the hole summer due to repair.
Any help appreciated.

You can launch at Cahore at any stage of the tide. You can't when the wind is in the North to East quarter. The council won't be closing Courtown for another few weeks as I understand, so in the meantime you can keep using the slip there!

They should really put a marker on that patch out of Cahore seen a guy hit them once.

If I had a euro for every time I saw somebody launch their new pride and joy and head straight over those rocks.
