Duration:11:00-17:00
Tide: acouple of hours before low water and a couple after
Weather:windy,with some showers,fairly bright besides
Bait:mackeral
Rigs:usual bottom ledgers
Results:a few dogs.
[b]Report:[/b Reg brought a few regulars down for a quick freebie trip(take note other skippers) before he takes the boat out of the water.We anchored up at the back of inis gort for a bit of doggy bashing.There were very few to be had,so at low water Paul,Sully and I slipped on our diving gear and went over the side to see if we could find some.We couldnt,not even after we spent 47 bone chilling minutes looking for them!we came back up and moved to the sheep pen,but we only had a few dogs here too,so we decided that our next move would be to the snug in the asgard pub!the fishing was'nt good but the craic was,and all on the skipper,fair play to him.Thats all my boat fishing/diving in Clew Bay for this year,but we have some shore fishing planned,will post results (if theres anything to report!!) :wink:
