People:8

Duration:9-5

Tide:Lw about 8am I think

Weather:Pretty good. Not much wind or rain

Bait:mac/sandeel

Rigs:everything

Results:cod,pollock,launce,mac,ballen and cuckoo wrasse,pouting,grey gurnard,ling,coley,dab

Report:headed out with Dick Hayes on a nice calm sea and stopped out by the saltees to look for some mac but all we got were a handful of launce which served nicely for bait for the day.We picked up 4 or 5 mac during the day but no shoals were found. Fishing was pretty quiet for most of the day with only a few of the usual suspects pollock etc falling to gilling mainly to start with but as the tide started to flow properly anyone who had red feathers started to score a few fish. Overall a good stamp of fish came on the feed for the last hour with everyone getting into cod around the 4.5- 5 lb range with a couple of larger pollock 7lb+ and a good size ballans and cuckoos coming to the boat.An enjoyable day with the skipper constantly trying different marks to try get on the fish.Going on the reports the skipper was getting throughout the day, our boat produced more fish than the others so thats always good :D
