Report:Got a call from kevin on monday for a portbeagle hunt in galway bay,, so early start on tue, Kevin had already filled a box of mack the day before for a ruby dubby. spoted off for some fresh mack and there was no short of them, soon we where out about 3 miles the far side of the aran island,so ruby dubby over the side and 4 shark rods out,, while they where out we where doing a bit of bottom fishing with great results,with some fine pollock coming on board,, sadly all through the day we got no takes on the shark rods,, but we had 12 species of fish landed,pollock,mackeral,dog fish,poorcod,whitting,haddock grey gunnard,red gunnard,launce,pouting,and some fine ling with jack taken the best of them with a fine double size ling.. the two pictures of the portbeagle shark where caught last year by kevin.....
