23 october, Maigden Mara,Spiddal-Galway Bay

People:me and 8 friends

Duration:9am-6pm

Tide:HW 09:20

Weather:good untill 3pm then wet and starting to get windy

Bait: feathers,mackerel,squid,sandeel

Rigs:various

Results: 10 species in all for the day-Pollack,coalfish,Cuckoo Wrasse,Ballan Wrasse,Cod,Shad,Mackerel,Haddock,Red Gunard and Squid!

Good days fishing.Skipper Kevin really worked to get us fish.Suprise of the day was getting about 15 Squid.

What did you catch the squid on and how?

hi sandman,the squid were caught on unbaited feathers and on a suid lure which the skipper got in Italy.We were fishing in about 35meters at time.
