[b]People: Kiwi Tony and Grim, Jay, Ryan and meself

Duration: 10th and 11th of September

Tide: Neap tides, drifting with wind.

Weather: North Easterly 4 to 6 on Saturday, variable on Sunday

Bait: Mackerel, Squid and lug.

Rigs:, Baited muppets and Hokkais, and ledgers.

Results: 58 Pollack, 3 cod, 15 coalies,2 pouting, 1 ling and 7 wrasse.

Report: 1st day was hectic with pollack, and we returned almost as many as we kept, baited muppets, drifting over reefy ground at 1.5 knots was best, Sunday was slower and we spent quite some time after wrasse which were scarse enough. Hope to return there next year, We got good info from a local charter skipper Sean Lavelle. Not a bad pint in Teach John Joe's either.

Ooops , cheers Raymondo for for pointing out the, eer ,obvious. We fished out of Blacksod Quay and spent most our time fishing off the Blue Rocks and up the west side of those islands.

You forgot the seal, Bro! Man did it put up a fight

Also beware of string like weed it can be sucked into the cooling intake of you outboard and cause it to overheat,as it did to mine.

PS. the Seal was a by catch and not a species hat was targetted, although it was great craic while we thought it was a shark of some description.
