Report: Two great days fishing out of the Killary in Galway on my brothers predator. At rimes the leads weren't touching the bottom for up to an hour with the ammount of pollock and whiting being caught, especially with the red devil rigs. Several trace fulls of whiting and pollock were caught. Great craic with 3 or 4 good pollock at a go!!
The best fish was caught by 12 year old Oisin who landed a double figure ling which took some doing from 55m depth.
There were plenty of big red gurnard about and the biggest tub gurnard I have ever caught.
The next time out there we are gonna target flatfish, dab, turbot, plaice, brill
