People:Me,Charlie,Seamus, Chris & steve over from the UK.

Duration:9hrs each day

Tide:Through high tide.

Weather:N3-4,decreasing to calm.

Bait:Fresh Macks,various rubber lures.

Rigs:Long traces.

Results:Cod,Pollock,ling.

Report:Started on thursday,tried a small peak off kilcummin head,found it covered in fish.Ended the day with 4 cod,36 good pollock.
Friday we travelled east to lenadooon,first mark produced 40 pollock in 5 drifts.Tried a shallow mark,35ft,and found huge pollock hunting in the kelp.So many fish that my crew begged for a day off on saturday,Wimps!
Sunday back to lenadoon on a very sunny day which moved the fish out of the shallow mark to somewhere that I couldn't find! Found some cod in the deeper water plus a few ling, no spurdog in the 160ft mark.
Monday, Lenadoon again , very patchy fish ,but on the start of the ebb the fish came on the feed for about 30 mins.Ended with 28 pollock ,6 cod. Two very happy men returned to the uk with a bootful of fillets.

That's fine fishing all right, you're workin the crew hard as usual. We've been out half a dozen times recently from Ballycastle, hooking lots of good pollock, some nice cod and gurnard - and a finger! :oops: Macs still in short supply tho, they're usually a pest at this time of year.
