People:three of the usual stalwarts and 4 guests (thanks to skipper des mills!)

Duration:9.45 - 17.30

Tide:slack water and up

Weather:glorious

Bait:mainly shads mackeral and rag worm

Rigs:flying collars

Results:

Report:a few small ling at slack water but once the tide started to push it was almost a pollack every drift! the speed of the drift ment that only one drop per drift was possible.
the pollack were all approaching double figures and fighting fit. any angler with a poorly adjusted drag
had a snap off. the rag worm selected the smaller fish!!! the bigger fish prefering those silly rubber shads
