Duration: 0900-1730

Tide: very slack

Weather: no wind

Bait: rag, mackerel

Rigs: devil rigs, redgills, one hook rigs

Results: pollack, whiting, poor cod, poutings, red gurnards, haddock, ballans, cuckoos, spur dog, cod, mackerel, scad, squid and octopus

Report: very nice day on the water with zero wind, any amount of ballans
can be caught at loop head, mostly around the 1lb size.

the pollack definately seem to go off the feed when the tide is not flowing,
we got some fine fish when the tide started to run again, there are big red
gurnards aroung and plenty of haddock

looks like another super day jw. wouldent it be brilliant to have conditions like that all the time.

it was a grand day for sure, sometimes i think though a little bit of wind giving
a slightly faster drift and the waves letting less light in the water can make for
better drift fishing
