Results:3 mackeral and a unknown small fish
report- Went over to back of irelands eye today mackeral fishing was quite calm when we got there about 10 minutes in a decent sized mackeral came up and 2 others in about10 mins after that also a small fish was hauled up i have no idea what it was . saw dolphins pass by and was nice trip
anyone know what this fish is ?

ok thanks for info on the whiting any idea if there ok for bait ? not much on it but could get small fillets or use whole

there is nothing wrong to use it whole as bait for huss, dogs, ray ,conger........... those scavangers like theyr meal big

oh right dont fish for big stuff much but dogs a possibility some time
any idea on strips of whiting on feathers or mackeral strips on feathers ?
