Report:

Fantastic sight of flat sea as we rounded the bend at Cahore harbour. We put out and headed for the spot where we dropped the sickest bag of rubby I was never so glad to get out of my bait fridge .We got plenty of nice smoothies to around 6 lb throughout the day until the bag of crab donated by Bolger last week ran out .Dogs came 3 at a time in the slack tide early on and then later when run started to ease off.Through the day a few big huss came up .The one we weighed was 12lb .Only 1 tope to around 20 lb in the afternoon .No ray.

Anyone know how the Balbriggan boats got on?Seemed to be fishing up at the buoys?

Great day although 1 grey face on the afternoon ..It wasnt all that rough .

Bit of a sickener when I got home and pranged auxilliary off the pillar .Must visit the crowd in Coolock.

I got a quote for repairing engine from crowd in Dalkey:

Using new Yamaha parts cost nearly 420 euro
Using second hand parts 295 euro

A friend gave me a number for Clinton Marine .He did the job with second hand parts for 150euro.Result.

Reduced the pain a lot .What a gentleman Michael is.
