Report:Not a bad count for the bay ,our best day fishing todate.we had a early start to the day so we could have two slack waters, one on a wreck and one on a bank.we had no bother getting macks the bay was full of them, there was alot of birds diving and a few dolphins about.it took about an hour to get out to the wreck ,when we got there the run was still on so we did a few drifts over it with baited lures and jellyworms,we got one ling and a few nice size colies.we anchored over it when the drift eased off and bait fished spoon rigs with mack and rag.Every 5mins we were landing a fish good ling big wrasse and pout,we had a few casts onto the sand with the worms and caught dogs and big dabs. When the run came back on it became hard to fish at anchor, with the big tides,so we tried a few more drifts over it and had one more ling .I lost a good fish midwater a big pollock we think, i got it on a shad

by this stage the drift was too fast so we headed back into the bay stopping of at the kish lighthouse for a few drifts and got another ling

we then went to the burford bank and anchored up ,we got a ray around 8lb and a tiny tope.the wind had picked up by now and it became to rough to fish ,so we moved into dalkey and fished around a few marks and picked up some cod pollock and gurnard.we finished off the day with some music in scotsmans bay and having a look at the big wheel etc .my son cillian had his first ling and wrasse so he was happy,he also had a sleep for 3 hours and saw a bit of the air show in bray
