People:Myself & Twinkle
Duration:1 pm to 8 pm
Tide:High tide 18.50pm
Weather:Sunny & Breezy
BaitRigs:Feathers & Sabikis
Results:6 Whiting,2 Pollock & 42 Mackerel.
Report:After a weekend of wind, myself and twinkle decided to head out to Howth to see if the small craft warning was for real. To our great surprise the sea was calm so we headed out to the back of the Bailey. After 5 or 6 drifts and some whiting we decided to move to the back of Irelands Eye where we soon hit our first Makerel. From then on we hit them almost every drift and managed to get a couple of decent Pollock. All in all it was a cracker of a day with the exception of the bloody seal who managed to take my mackerel off the line and nearly ended up in the boat. Sorry for the lack of photo's but was busy fighting with the bloody seal most of the afternoon.

we wont forget the black widow next time.this one wasent put off by dave throwing a bouy on a rope at him. thought dave was playing. it was very funny when he stripped the fish off daves rod he had never seen this before. the look and the temper rising in a normally laid back bloke it was so funny.
