Report:Started in the harbour to pick up some bait, catching, herring, sand eel, launce, whiting and codling, and the odd mack at the six bouy, as macks scarce headed out to the lings and the deeper water for a megrim, which we picked up on the first drift, but it was the only one, so seirt was needing his pollock fix which we nicely supplied for him with some fine pollock coming to the jelly worms, average 6-10 lbs, but i managed to winkle out another specimen off 12.2 lbs
Headed for the clean ground north of lings, and had a good steady stream of fish coming onboard, but nothing to big, decided to come back into harbour for the last hour and managed a nice 10lb blonde ray.
A great day, with the added species of a red lobster in the shape of seirt, ( must get higher factor sun cream!!)
