Weather:light N-N/W wind

Bait: Macky, Lug, Squid and sandeel

Rigs: feathers and running ledger

Report: Spent a few hours in search of some macky for bait, was hitting them in small numbers here and there. Picked up enough for bait and a few launce for livebaiting. Hit some rock marks for pollock and coalies before heading to my usual wrasse and huss spot. Fishing is still a bit slow but the huss were coming thick and fast.

Six hours on your own? - sounds idyllic! :D

Fish might still be patchy as you say, but it doesnt seem to be stopping you. Nice little report and pix.

Ya they made bits of my rubby dubby bag, in the end i was actually just pulling them to the surface and picking them out of the water. Great new way to fish, but will have to make up a metal cage or something for the next trip. We have had some great fish on that spot the girlfriend even picks them up on her washing line.
