A twitcher friend ID'ed those birds for me a few years back.
If memory serves they are "Chiff Chaffs" on their way into the country.
Magic little bird. They must be on their last legs (or wings) when they see the boat. :)

Nice bit of fishing but i have to say i really like the pictures of the dolfins,

did you have to use some kind of filter lense to rid the glare off the water ??

You now have me looking for slips where i can launch from should i go down during the summer :D

It seems to work a treat, I will have to carry on using my sun glass's as a lens cover for now.. least until i invest in a better camera, 8)

apart from my thrush joke going over johns head. i was wondering willie do the dolphins rob your hooks like the seals do when your pulling in your feathers? and has anyone ever hooked one?

we snagged one a while back. they came from the port side and went straight under the keel. we were trying to get the gear out of the water in time and one of us hooked one. nearly pulled the guy in, hit like a train. WAAAAY harder than a shark. and probably never knew it was hooked. lost about a half a spool of braid before we got a scissors to it
