myself, kevin of the madiain mara spiddal and max of the laca rua spiddal.. sented a day out on the laca rua skippered by max .. heavey frost early on in the morning but cleared to a fine day but rather cold .. steamed out to the gregory sound between the island. where we tried for a few pollack on max"s lovely light spinning rods abu rods with penn spinning reels.. we span sandell. chads, strom ells and orther lures,, the fishing was quite slow with kevin hitting the mark first with a fine pollack to about 6 lbs followed by 2nd and then 3rd.. fishing was slow.. myself zero,,max zero.. headed into the middel of the bay to a spot kevin knows.. same again very very very slow,, max had a lovely ling to save his blank, kevin had a nice cookco rass... me a BIG BLANK and not affraid to say it.. always another day....
