Report: headed out for the day set about getting some macks they were scarce today took about an hour for a dozen or so headed out further than i have gone in my own boat about 3 miles and anchored up in about 120 ft
loads of dogs lost my own count at 20 jonothon was the same getting one each bait ronnie was still jigging filling the bait box said he had half a road to feed then got a huge tug on the line large bend on the rod hopeing it was my elusive ray
after a good fight got it up to the side of the boat ahuge bullhuss one of 5 for me and 2 for jonothon as the tide turned
we decided to head back in fish the last couple of hours replacing ronnies macks we used quite a bit they were still scarce
at the island got a couple of pollock and about 10 macks that cheered him up. all the macks today were singles. yesterday
we were filling 8s strange this fishing lark. anyway a super day out a lot of fish was tired from the huss and doggies have
to get back out tomorrow the forecast is minging for the rest of the week[thats my story and im sticking to it]

nice selection there lads, well done, try manky or refrozen mac for the rays, they fall for it in the west, might be worth a try :)

will certainly give that a try .was out again to day again loads of dogs but got hooked into a huge fish held it on for about 5 minutes it broke the wire trace pulled me around the boat was a great buzz would have loved to get it in but thanks a lot for the tip should get out after the weekend
