Crew:myself dan my son and buddy chris

Tide high to low

Weather:windy snotty and wild

Bait:crab ,mac squid,lug

Rigs:everything

Results:well first day out with my son dan just turned 13 and buddy chris we got macs easy had a few launce moved again had a few huss nothing big but 2 a time on spreader bars then dan got sick well put it mildly 2 hours of it fell asleep for a while back up again ate a bit and picked up again and fished .we went to a tope mark and had had a good few landed 7 few missed run dan had one 20lbs chris had a few to 30 lbs i had one 45 lbs windy picked up headed for shelter anchored and had a smoothhound on crab and a scorpion fish i think on lug we moved again between the islands 7 to 9 ft swells got soaked but boat handled great large swells in a following sea had chris with a tight behind we tryed for a bass but to windy and snotty moved again had a few coalies to finish up a good day pics in bragging rights

tnice one breaking your son in gently he will have his sealegs in no time. the reports from kilmore this season have been poor
but considering the weather we have been getting its not surprising not a nice place to be in any sort of swell so fairplay
for sticking it out

Love that :D, teaching your son and his best pal how to fish is is one of the best ways to bond. Once upon a time family was important, but with the advancement of technology and the internet, family values has rapidly declined in past years :cry: and with family time at such a premium, one of the best ways to spend quality time with your kids is to take them on an easy, guided and adventurous fishing trip. Well done 8)
