:nice and calm

Bait:fresh macks

Rigs:assorted

Results:macks pollock and whiting

Report:headed out on low tide and decided to fish off the left of the island this was productive coming off the shelf
in to deeper water we hit some good mackeral good size done a few runs like this. the back of the island there was a few
boats fishing they dident seem to be doing as well as we were we then drifted to the back hit nothing all the way to the
stack i then decided to try for a few pollock went to a mark giving to me by a guy who was diving out there last week
the screen on the fish finder was alivewith fish they wernt biting foul hooked two good ones about 2 lb. tried baited
hooks one take 3lb+ kept drifting over them with different rigs managed 5 pollock all keepers but the amount on the screen
in such a small area was fab will try the kitchen sink till i find what there taking next day out

Can well relate to the feeling, happens to me all the time - sonar full of fish and no takes. I usually end up trying all the rigs and tactics until I succeed, makes it all the more interesting. Nice results nonetheless, congrats 8)

thanks lads what i intend to do is anchor or tie off to one of the pots and try spinning a few lures the currents where they are are very strong so if i get the position right could be very productive going to bring some fresh rag lug crab i would also fancy a bass been down there as the ground would favour them along with the currents. we kept drifting too fast the last day watch this space
