Report:We left Spiddal at9.00 in fair weather,it turned choppy in about 5 mins.We went to a mark near Aran, and hit aload of pollack, most of us were using feathers or jellies on spinning gear or 20-30lb braid,.Later we anchored and sent down mack baits, this resulted in a bull huss and a dog each for me(PMU) and martin.Good sport on 20lb gear with braid. It got too rough to stay out so we headed in to the north shore for a few drifts. we caught a few small pollack and headed home.A good day fish wise but boy was it rough! The forecast was for force 4-5,it was at least 5-7 at times, but Kevin worked hard to put us on good spots, and make it as comfortable as possible. Looking forward to the summer, whenever it arrives.
