Ebb Tide fishing boat 27/06/08

People: Me and couple of randomers

Tide: no idea

Weather: warm and overcast

Bait: squid fish belly.

Rigs: One circle hook

Results: Me 2 fluke to 45cm and 1 bluefish to 40cm

Report: My boss lets me go out on the boat for free when Im not working so went out this afternoon. There was only a couple of people who wanted to fish so plenty of space. First time out fishing for fluke so was going a bit slow eventually got into some fish nice fight off the fluke they are pretty strong. They were fish breaking the surface all over the place smashing into the baitfish which was pretty cool to watch. Got into some bluefish as well a very good fight off them my rod was about 20-30lb class rod and was hooped over with the fairly small fish on. The biggest fish of the day was 7lb and was pretty impressive to see.

Cheers was out working today was able to fish while working caught a good few fish. Got what they call a sea bass over here he was about 3lb which is a good fish supposedly and got a couple of fluke one was around 3lb 55cm and another was around 8lb and was 66cm caught them on a baitcaster and a 5500 abu reel very good fight off them.
