Report:
First trip of the year in the new (to me) boat i picked up a few months ago. Weather was excellent for the first run out, however the forecast southerly winds didn't materialise, with fresh easterlies making the drift very quick, especially as it coincided with the spring tides. Fishing was pretty poor for the day that was in it, pollock were taken on leadheads close to the rocks and the rest were taken on baited rigs. All in all a good first day to get used to the boat, performed well and economy was pretty good. Hopefully better fishing will follow in the next few months.

Fishing wasn't great but the boat performed perfectly. Was surprised Ciaran how easy she was to retrieve, had expected a bit more hassle considering the bit of a wave on the slip.
