Report:

First time out in the new boat (17ft Pilot with twin 30hp) - managed to get out from Meenogahane Pier (http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/334148) just before low water but it was very tight and water very low- would advise doing this at least 2 hrs before /after low water).

Great people around gave us a bit of advise about getting out - excellent spot and they are keen to see more small boats using the facility and helped us reload afterwards

Not that much fishing as we were testing the boat to see how all the new electronics worked out and of course to get an idea of speed - but lots of Macs around.

More reports to follow after a great first trip and proof in my own mind that the boat can take the pounding - lots of great marks within 20 mins that we can head for.
