People:Borough SAC

Duration:10am-4pm

Tide:1ish I thiink

Weather: windy, wet and sometimes miserable. In fact downright atrocious at times. Drifting at the speed of light.

Bait:rag, macks, lures and feathers

Rigs:lots

Results:pollock, cod, wrasse,coalies, doggies

Report: Thought on Saturday that comp might be called off. 6am Sunday Tom Butler, our trusty and hard working secretary, was on the blower saying we were in action and starting at 10am.

I arrived at 9am and was frozen on exit from the car. First call the Saltees for Mackerel plus a few pollock. Very little other action until we went in towards the shore. It took almost an hour to get there. It was like a roller coaster in Disney.

Fishing was good with a constant flow of fish from about 400m- 1km of shore....over the sand. As soon as we went further out the action more or less died out.

On our boat 77 counters: 49 cod, 3 wrasse and the remainder mainly pollock.

Well done to Willy Worth who got 640 points.

Thanks to John Deveraux & Billy Bates who worked hard to get us fish.

Speeel chek is down tonite and so dere may be mani errors in dis reportt. De owl speelcow is down!! Hope yis can reed dis!!
