Started fishing 2 hours before high tide towards the sutton end of the beach. My father caught a nice 2 lb flounder on his first cast. Bites were slow enough, missed a couple of bites, nearly sure they were Bass.
Will go fish it on an evening tide this week.

this beach is ridiculously underated. hard to believe so few anglers fish it. good bass are caught here every year for as long as i can remember and if they don't show the flounders usually keep you occupied. if u went down to wicklow and had a few flounder over a pound you would think it was a good days fishin whereas catches like this are quite regular on dollier.
