Report: Lovely surf coming right up into the bay, looked ideal for bass but only coalies showed, not bad size...up to round 38cm. Two other lads fishing seemed to be getting coalies too.
Moved to the Broadstrand and met with Petekd but fishing here was desperate, two coalies for three of us. Had kind of hoped for better fishing as conditions were good after the recent blow.

In fairness, at Broad Strand it wasnt like we were fishing any way hard at all. Baits horsed out then the chatting and the tea drinking started... :lol:
My blank was saved at the death by a 37cm coalie..... I havent blanked in Feb yet and didnt want to start then....!

Had forgotten how bloody nice a cup of tae is on a cold night :) Must make a point of bringing a flask along for the rest of the winter

Used to do that but kept forgetting to wash it afterwards..... Numerous flasks dumped. Currently flaskless.

Pink Elephant is always worth a go really but since you are fishing for biggies here you do sometimes go fishless. Funny story - someone caught a painted ray there last year :shock:
I hate Broadstrand TBH but fair play to yis for giving it a shot!
