sorry to hear about the blank on killiney hairy. normally it produces a couple of fish mainly either end touching the rough stuff. better luck on your next outing. you should of stuck to the m50 and avoided the city this would have left you on to the N11 where you wanted to be. hats off to you for dedication ill give you that. ps. could you put me in the light and let me know what peller is.?

break out the size 4's! during daylight scratch for flounder. lug mussel and maddies or small king rag. fish down from carpark just to the left of steps. should be just on edge of rough ground. some good coalies around here. sandeel worth a try as fish often gorge on em here. mussel good bait for em though all the same. night fishin here can see too many small fish competing for baits... 3 hook flapper is as good as anything here. fish from your feet out to 50 yards with gulley often bein most productive- twitch your traces back towards you to find the patches of rough. coalies seem to hug to the features when sea is calm. if you use a match pattern hook they will bend out easy.

i pulled down a small lane up from the carpark and fished directly below the path!! quite a big beach and i really had no clue were abouts to throw the bait
