portrush harbour fri 16th feb 2007

Sat Feb 17, 2007 3:20 am

People:me

Duration:3-7pm

Tide:filling

Weather:calm but cold!

Bait:rag, mack mussel

Rigs:2 hook clipped, 3 hook flapping on back wall and 1 hook light rig inside harbour

Results:daylight crap, darkness pretty good!

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:had only 2 dab and a poor cod and a dragonet on the back wall in daylight, with the tide filling and the swell i moved inside the harbour with the quivertip rod at dark, and fish every drop, had around 30 coalies, 4 pollack, 3 shore rockling, 1 3 beard, 1 5beard and a butterfish on the inside of the harbour, nothin massive but good sport in a hectic couple of hours, but nost of these fell to scratching tactics to be fair.
