Mon Feb 12, 2007 11:30 am

People:Me & Petekd

Duration:2 hrs

Tide:Dropping

Weather:Sunny and quite warm. Wind was fresh south west

Bait:Lug, razor, black lug, mackerel

Rigs:1 hook clipped

Results:Codling & whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:After the struggle at Kilmuckridge myself and Pete hit the wall for a couple of hours. Plenty of small fish out there, no bigger than 34cm. Wall was very quiet today, most folk were probably watching the game.

Looks like the bigger cod have fecked off.

Was the before you. it's a wonder there were any fish left a fish a cast for two hours. That not fishing it's more like a hard workout at the gym. As for the lack of anglers this is because the trout season is opened again. The majority of anglers there during the winter are pub trout anglering clubs who run sea competition during the closed season.

No. These guys usualy fish for rainbow trout in any river they can fish on.
Most are clubs formed in pubs with little or no conservation rules and use whatever means the can to catch the fish.
