Bait: lug, mussel, whelk, mackerel

Results: numerous pin whiting, 2 blocan, a flounder


mild enough given the recent spell and was great to get out. had loads of bait which I didnt use up. no bass unfortunately and knew early on that that was going to be the case

Are whelks the wee small boyos ye get in spiral shells? If so, I've found them deadly for ballan wrasse on certain deep-water, rocky marks

yes all had a taste of whelk but in cocktail form. cant vouch for them as a result. suspect taht anything picked up thers wiil do
