Fished a rising tide here on Sat evening. It had just turned prior to leaving. Just fished out from where i parked the car and didn't bother to make the trek to the point. Prob should have as fishing was slow. Had 4 codling between 3/4 and 1 1/4 lbs on cocktails of lug, crab and mussel on 1-2 hooked clipped down rigs and pulley rigs. All fish were at distance with the bait on my second rod, cast about 50/60 yds untouched all night.
Lovely night, next to no weed and the improvements on the N11 make a big difference getting back home. Back home in Dublin with curried chip in time for match of the day!
