Results: 2 Rockling (21cm & 26cm), 7 Pollack (12cm - 25cm)
Catch and Release:: Yes
Report: Bites were few and far between, Its been ages since I've caught a Coalfish, or a Codling, Or a Whiting for that matter, it would drive you insane! I N S A N E ! ! !
Meanwhile, could someone help with Rocking I.D? The First Fish was 22cm, The Second 26cm. Cheers.

Couldn`t you have taken better photos drew,it would make it easier to ID.And how is anyone supposed to ID a fish from the size :roll:
Next time you could even try counting the beards,1...2...3 etc etc :lol:
Shore rockling is dark with light spots,three bearded is light with dark spots.My guess is shore rockling,but there has been a few five bearded caught at the Dee this year,they are generaly a bit paler than shores and would almost always fall to worm baits.
We were down on sunday night and only had about 10 fish most of them were tiny cod.
