People:me
Duration:13.00-17.00
Tide:Low at 13.00
Weather:Blustery westerly
Bait:sandeel and artificials
Rigs:trolling
Results:about 20 pollack
Catch and Release:: Yes all returned
Report: One of my usual marks which I knew would be sheltered from the westerlys. Plenty of pollack about most around 2 lb best today 3lb+. All fell to sandeel except 2. The best fish of the day was taken on a leadhead with a big green fluorescent jelly. The other took a hookai which I have on a short snood about 18 inches above the leadhead. Tried the artificials for 30 mins after the sandeel was finished and just as the light was going.

often thought the shore marks for down section could be updated. can't believe ardglass doesn't feature on it for instance. kilkeel also throws up some good fishing as does newcastle.

unfortunately pete, i don't fish the areas i mentioned often enough to give info on how they fish. it wouldn't be an accurate enough report on any of them to do them justice. just surprised there was no mention of these areas on the shore mark section.

didn't realise u fished the down coast liam, u seem to always report along the antrim coast. alot of my fav spots along the down coast unfortunately go very quiet at this time of year so i feel forced to fish the antrim coast in search of a bit of sport.
