Results:2 coddling, 4.5,1lb/2 bass 3lb,2.5 lb
arrived at beach shortly after l.w. weather not to bad mist and light rain first cast hooked what i thought was a nice bass turned out to be a lovely cod, :D :o next few casts got bass and small codling, by this time the wind had reached near gale force and the baits were been pushed all over the beach, only had 3oz. leads. aborted
goin back out now to try again by the time i get back the cod shoud be cooked.

Catch and Release:: Yes/No. kept cod and 1 bass

went back at 4, most sane ppl. would have stayed in the car. blowin about F.8 with rain, tryed for hour, nothing :(

Must get myself up 2 clonea by the sounds of things its fishing very well.. is it best to fish the tide up at night time ye!?

Cortez i think you give the rest of us hope with those reports. I read them and then think im gona catch loads so i go fishing local of course (Dublin north) and all i catch is small whiteing. im jealous

Here I am stuck at my desk on a Friday afternoon and reading about bass swimming around in the waves in Waterford.

james clonea fishes at all stages of tide, around high and low water are probaly the best times.
i fish in daylight to avoid the small stuff.

p.s.
dont go down there after dark theres all watermonsters down there, somebody got ate there last week :shock: :D
