Hi Davy P

Congrats on the first conger, alwasy a bit of a surprise how hard a small one can pull! Were you fishing over the wall north, west off the end of the pier or into the pier / harbour itself?

[cheers for the welcome folks

we were fishing pretty much into the harbour, the conger came just off the steps at the end of the pier, the coalie off the end, all the fish came on squid, the bizzillions of crabs played havoc with Mackeral baits.

what is it like fishing over the other side of the pier

also anywhere over sligo way that might throw up a chance for Codling?

cheers, Davy
