People:me and james
Duration:3-6
Tide:on the rise
Weather:calm, sunny and dry.
Bait:lug and makerel
Rigs:2 hook clip down
Results:20+ whiting( a few around a 1lb) and 10+ codling (all small , biggest around 25cm)
Catch and Release:: Yes
Report:the weather wasn't great for fishing so we didn't expect much. tried white rock for a bass as a small surf was running but nada fish in sight for an hour so we moved back up towards the carpark and set up base camp. a dog p1ssed on my beach buddy as i was casting james stood and laaughed, he didn't pay for it.
sent the rigs as far a possible towards the horizon in the hope for a doggie or two but instead ended up with whiting after whiting after whiting then followed by a small cod plague at about 5.
on an interesting note some dog walkers told me they saw fish jumping out of the water, any suggestions as to what they are?
