Report:Headed out to Clonmany with the intention of fishing Leenan or Tullagh but the weather conditions were brutal so opted for Culdaff again,all fish were caught within 30 yds of the shore .Turbot caught using mackerel strips weighed in at 1lb 3 ozs and 1 lb 11 ozs , dab and flounder on sandeel. dab 13ozs flounder 1lb 6ozs.

aye not bad ,although i find the flatties tend to be on the small side in Culdaff compared to some of the other local beaches.
Had to pack up early though because as soon as the rain eased off the wind changed direction and it was blowing a sandstorm :lol: :lol:

Hey Johnboy. My m8 had a plaice off Culdaff about a month ago and it weighed in just under the 3lb mark! Cracking fish. Have pictures in my phone but can't work out how to get them on the computer :oops:

Hi Ronan,Thats a good Plaice for any of the beaches down here.What i meant was the average size is fairly small.
Are you still heading for Culdaff on tuesday night? if so i will probably see you down there.
