People: me and the boy shane

Duration:3/6 p.m

Tide:h.w.6

Weather:bright and breezy n.w.

Bait:small crappy watery lugs

Rigs: 1 up.

Results:5 bass,5,3.5 2.5 1.5,1.5, 2 flounder,coalies, and a suprise coddling
all the bass,flounder taken at around 20 yards, casts any further were met with almost instant intrest from the coalies,on the last cast i wacked it out as far as possable, did not see the bite but when i began to reel in felt something nodding on the end turned out to be a coddling of about 3 lb.
shane had 2 bass and 1 flounder
i think if we had better bait we,ed have had more bass, most of the lugs were only 3/5 inch long, the 1 big black lug 1 did have resulted in a flounder of about 1 lb.
i,ll have 1 last session tomorrow then i think i leave it for a week or 2

Catch and Release:: Yes, most

cortaz what b.s. line you usin for your rigs? if you don't mind tellin :) !

i start with a 3 way, size 8 swivel, 10 in. snool of 18/20lb. size 1/0 hooks(pennel) about 30 in. of 50lb through the eye of 2/3 oz bomb a bead a standard size 8 swivel then about 16/18 in of 20lb. line.
most fish are on the top hooks.
if theres a big swell and i have big worms i go up to 3/0/4/0 hooks and 25lb. snools
i dont use grip leads much and when i do the catch rate drops a lot, i just let it roll around take up the slack every now and then most of the recent bass have fallen to this method, 10 or 20 yards out in the first wave.
most of the fish hook themselves in the same place right in the crese of the scissors.
