Results: 3 dogs, 4 whiting 1codling and 1 nice coalie

Report:
Bitter cold. Great to be back out after a long while in. Dogs were unusually big, which was a rare sight. whiting were tiny as usual. The colaie was a good'un, nearly a 2lb'er.
Saw a couple of guys snorkelling....toooo cooolllld.

have fished howth by night a bit lately, blanked last two times tho...have been fishing off the left pier... is the lighthouse pier better??

No baileys lighthouse, its at the back of howth very dangrous cliffs during the day can only imagine what its like at night. might give it ago tonight. good pollock fishing there during the day

if you go through howth drive up past the summit and you will see a sharp left turn go down there and you will see stone pillars with a sign saying something about office of public lights fallow that road down and you will sea the bailey do be careful it can get very slippy

I'd fish all over Howth, Lava.
If I'm out for the day I'd be hitting 2 or 3 spots, depending on time of year and weather.
Drop me a PM if your not familiar with the area, what you'd like to be going after. A lot of the marks would require you to be of reasonable fitness and having a head for heights, as the Howth regulars would agree I'm sure.
