Report:a few coalies were running the beach at low tide caught by a guy beside us then after 19.15 dogs and nowt else even without mack to attract them which was kindly stolen by a ginger moggie bout 30 mins in to the session :shock:

I had to get a mackeral off Jonny that eve.

I wonder if you could use a slightly over fed Ginger cat for bait?

Keep your bait in a sealed bucket or fix a mouse trap to your mackeral and stand back, Should be worth watching. Sort that cat out once and for all!!! :shock: :twisted: :wink:

i was fishing a rock mark near glenarm one night when i put my hand in the bucket to get a rag worm and was not looking what i was doing when i felt the biggest , furriest rag worm i had ever come aross :shock: there was a rat in the bucket eating the worms :x
needless to say i always have a sly peep first before i put my hand in :D

i was fishin in greystones in august... at the pier... i left a rod down the path from me with the trace lyin on the ground with the leftovers of a squid on it, bout ten mins later the rod fell over an i heard that rotten squealin sound...ID HOOKED A RAT! needless to say mr el ratio went for an el swimio

I've heard of one bass angler, having caught a bass with a mouse in its stomach, using dead mice as bait. Works, apparently. So, you never know... :lol:
