Rigs:conger traces

Results:i had 6 congers smallest bout six lb bigest in his 20s i also lost 3. boycie had 8 one was around the thirty mark his smallest was 5lb he also lost 7. all in all we had 14 congers and we lost 10


Catch and Release:: Yes/No

headed down ta cork after been there last week when i lost a conger easily 50lb and i landed one bout 60lb but he was that big i couldnt lift him out of the water so i got him on to the harbour steps and cut him loose this week had more but not as big

definately gonna hit that mark. how far out are you casting? are you dropping any baits on the inside of the pier wall?

thanks a lot gibbo. my buddy and I were just gonna do the norm and hit up monkstown, but he mentioned he might like to try something out towards ballycotton. now i have a reason since i'm a conger fanatic. can you get ray from the pier? what type of ground is fishing and at what distance?

If you absolutely belt baits out over the corner of the wall (onto sand) you'll get some good dabs etc. The bigger the distance the more fish? Must be a bank or something out there but it can be v good

Gonna have to get a spin down there soon after seeing fish like that. Well done lads, you guys are popping up in all manner of places and seem to be doing very well. Fair play to ye... :D
