Hi ghost, It was a better day than usual . makes a change from hauling in doggies of glenarm breakwater .
Total losses were minimal, one new 3 hook clipped down trace with weight and that was it. Makes a change. I dont find that spot too bad at all, casting out about 50 yards plus and not dallying on the retreive usually sees most tackle coming back. Mind you though, its a different story just a bit further past the rock though.

anytime iv fished browns bay i have went on past the painted rock to the head.. tackle loss serious!!! mate in work was telling me the best spot in that area to fish is at the other side of the bay on the rocks at the back of the golf course. havent tryed it yet but am gonna give it ago soon.. when ur walking out to the painted rock it looks quite clean if your out a few yards.
