There's a lot of bass around most of the south Wexford beaches. We decided to give Bastardstown a try last night and what a result.

The locals don't like the name, and they call it Seaview!

This can be a great bass venue at this time of year, I remember reading an article in the 'Sea Angler' about how this place got is name.

The conditions over the last few days seem to have been particularly good.

Are you sure you're scales was adjusted properly for that 9.25lber :?: :D I think I would have gotten a second opinion...

LOL, brilliant! Way better than Seaview! Love to ring up for an insurance quote and give them that as my address, can imagine the reaction :lol: :lol:

Think I remember remember reading that piece somewhere too. A merchant ship ran aground here and the sailors seemed to leave their mark with the local female population - hence the name Bastardstown :roll:
